Las Chicas This program is for Latina girls ages 8-18 years old. This program provides a variety of recreational, educational and service activities that allows its members to get involved in the surrounding community. Las Chicas is free to participants and meets Tuesday afternoons from 4:30-6:00 p.m. Interested students and parents should contact Cyndi Ritter or Megan Barber at the YWCA for more information. |

PASS (Parents Achieving Success with Support) A parent education and support group for individuals ages 20 to 26. Meet other young parents in similar situations, learn more about educational and employment opportunities for adults, and develop strategies for self-sufficiency and positive parenting. Earn participation "points" to purchase items in the incentive store and Stork's Nest. No preregistration required. A meal and child care are provided. A "Dads Group" is also available. (Partially funded by Cedar Valley's Promise Empowerment) PASS meets the second and fourth Wednesday each month from 3:45 - 5:00 pm. Contact Cyndi Ritter for more information. |
