Assistant Childcare Director

The YWCA seeks a creative, energetic person to assist in the development, provision, and supervision of childcare programming at our full day summer childcare program.


Qualifications:
• BA degree in education, recreation, child development or a related field
• One year of relevant experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Must pass criminal and child abuse background checks.
Full-Time, $38,000/year with benefit, including paid time off, health & dental insurance, retirement, etc.

Aquatics Instructor – Adult and Senior Aquatic Fitness Class Instructors

YWCA seeks energetic individuals for part-time positions providing instruction to adults and seniors in water aerobics and/or aquatic fitness classes.

  • Flexible schedules
  • A variety of shifts are available including Saturdays
  • $15.00/hour

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in instructing in water classes
  • Ability to teach and motivate individuals

YWCA Y’s Kids Before and After School Childcare Program

YWCA is accepting applications from qualified and safety-oriented individuals to staff before and after school childcare programs serving school-aged children.

  • Positions are part-time during the elementary school academic year
  • Available positions are On-Site Supervisor ($15.50/hour) and Program Assistants ($15/hour)
  • 6-30 hours per week are available, to fit your schedule
  • Childcare program hours are: 6:30 a.m. – 9:00 a.m. and 3:25 p.m. – 6:00 p.m., Monday – Friday; 1:30 p.m. – 6:00 p.m. on Wednesdays; and 6:30 a.m. – 6:00 p.m. Fridays. Hours depend on the specific program site you are assigned

Qualifications:

  • Experience required for On-Site Supervisor positions
  • Must be able to pass criminal and child abuse background checks
