offered regardless of an individual’s or family’s ability to pay.

Funding sources include grants, United Way and individuals just as you. Consider making a difference in your community by making a tax-deductible contribution today. The form below is provided for your convenience in making your gift.

Make a difference in the lives of those the YWCA serves!

Pension Protection Act & How it Relates to Charitable Giving

The current Pension Protection Act allows an individual to make a charitable gift to their favorite Non-profit Organization or Charity with exclusion from gross income for certain distributions of up to $100,000.00 from a traditional IRA (Individual Retirement Account) or Roth IRA.

This IRA rollover provision is allowed to individuals age 70 ˝ and older to make charitable donations in 2007 up to $100,000.00 from an IRA without having to count the donation as taxable income. This provision is only in effect through December 2007. Please check with your financial advisor regarding your status.
