Marketing and Development Director
The YWCA seeks a creative, detail-oriented professional to direct and manage fundraising and marketing initiatives and activities to support and further the YWCA mission. Must have demonstrated success in fundraising, donor and sponsor engagement, marketing, social media and special events. Requirements: Bachelor's degree in marketing, public relations, or related field; one year experience with nonprofit annual fundraising; donor recruitment and management; database management; and marketing/public relations. Strong oral and written communication and time management skills. Availability for some evening and weekend appointments or events required. Youth and Family Services Summer Program Assistant
The YWCA seeks a creative, energetic individual for part-time position to assist in planning and facilitating our youth development program for middle school girls and our parent education and support program.
Qualifications: High school diploma/GED; experience working in group setting preferred, strong communication and teamwork skills required. Program hours 10:00 a.m.–2:00 p.m. Monday through Friday. 20–25 hours per week during the summer. $15.00/hour. Must pass criminal and child abuse background checks. Family Center Child Care Provider
The YWCA seeks individuals for part-time position providing child care for children aged infant through 10 years while their parents participate in YWCA English Class or parenting programs. Flexible work schedule with morning, afternoon and early evening hours available. Current hours needed are Tuesday and Thursday mornings: Monday and Wednesday late afternoon and evening hours. Approximately 6-10 hours a week.
Qualifications: High school diploma/GED; ability to relate effectively and positively with children, parents, and YWCA staff; ability to regularly bend, stoop, pick up and lift babies and toddlers. $15.00/hour. The YWCA seeks individual to transport participants in agency vehicles.
Requirements: HS diploma/GED; have/obtain chauffeur’s license; current vehicle insurance; 26+ years of age; meet agency insurer’s standards; familiarity with Waterloo/CF area.
